Background

YapTalk is a growing brand that was established as a forum and information source for owners of small breed dogs. YapTalk’s definition of a small breed is any dog 25 pounds and under.

YapTalk was created by Tekisha (T.K.) Slack and was inspired by her Maltese “Boo”, the little white dog pictured on the brand’s logo. T.K. recognized the need to establish such a forum after she found limited products and information that was specifically geared towards the small breed. Sadly, Boo passed away in 2013 but T.K. continues to be influenced by little Teacup Yorkie, “Bella”.

YapTalk’s overall mission is educate and inform the owners of small breeds dogs and to influence brands in keeping the small breed dog in mind when developing food, products and clothing.

Audience

YapTalk is a trademarked brand that is actively engaged in the social media space. YapTalk has a WordPress blog, a Facebook page, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest accounts. We are currently in the process of building our social media following and blog audience. In January 2016, we will distribute our first monthly newsletter. The newsletter will include tips for the owners of small breed dogs, articles and most importantly…featured products and services.
